MB Motorsports Recap: O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway
MB MOTORSPORTS AT KANSAS: MB Motorsports beat the heat at Kansas Speedway with a 25th place finish for new marketing partner, Zap Payment Systems, in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 250. 19 year old Nick Hoffman, in his first appearance at the speedway, brought the No. 63 Ford F-Series home without a scratch on it. After a second practice session that saw the team take a step a backwards, the MB Motorsports crew worked tirelessly to completely revise the trucks’ set up in time for qualifying. Hoffman, trying to qualify for only his third NCWTS race, ran more than six miles per hour faster than he had in final practice, making the Zap Payment Systems Ford the fastest of the ‘go or go home’ teams, with a 26th starting position.
Hoffman found himself fighting an exceptionally loose truck a good portion of the race. The MB Motorsports crew made numerous changes to improve the trucks handling without making it too tight. The Zap Payment Systems Ford responded and Hoffman began turning impressive lap times. A late race caution allowed Hoffman to get back on the lead lap, where he finished in the 25th position.
ZAP PAYMENT SYSTEMS: ZAP Payment Systems is proud to sponsor MB Motorsports and looks forward to a great race. ZAP is a credit and debit card payment processing company started by industry veterans with over 15 years of experience processing payments for thousands of merchants all across the country. Traditionally the way the payment processing industry finds customers is like most any other business: lots of costly advertising in print, on television and radio, or on the internet, with salespeople paid large commissions to find customers. Approximately 50% of the profit the payment processing company makes for providing services has typically gone to sales commissions alone. ZAP takes a different, more cost-effective approach to save its clients money.
Not only is Mike Mittler the owner of MB Motorsports, but he is also a customer of the Patent pending process offered by ZAP that is designed to virtually eliminate the merchant monthly credit card fees. Mittler's endorsement of ZAP Payment Systems is just one of many merchants where fees are virtually eliminated. If you are a merchant and would like to learn more about how to offset your monthly fees call 1-877-264-2260 or visit our web site www.zappayments.com.
MIKE MITTLER’S THOUGHTS ON THE O’REILLY AUTO PARTS 250: “I could not be more proud of the effort our team made at Kansas, both the crew and Nick Hoffman. When the changes we made in the second practice didn’t work out, everyone worked unbelievably hard to get the Zap Payment Systems Ford right. The fact that we picked up nearly a second and a half in qualifying is a testament to their effort. For having never raced at Kansas before, Nick Hoffman did a fine job. He qualified fastest among the teams that weren’t locked in and then went out, fought a loose truck, was able to tell us what he needed and then brought the truck home without a scratch on it. This kid is the real deal.”
NICK HOFFMAN’S THOUGHTS ON THE O’REILLY AUTO PARTS 250:
“This weekend was a great learning experience for me in the Zap Payment Systems Ford. We started out good, got a little behind, made a ton of changes and then qualified pretty well, so I was feeling pretty good. Then, when the race started, we were way loose. Mike and the guys kept working on the truck until we were running some pretty quick laps. Having never raced here before, to finish on the lead lap with the truck looking like it did when we unloaded, is all right by me.”
