Scott Lynch Ready to Conquer the “Monster Mile”

Scott Lynch has not raced at Dover International Speedway before, but will get his chance to conquer the “Monster Mile” Friday June 1, 2007 driving the Cooper Bussmann #63 Ford Truck in the “AAA Insurance 200” NASCAR Craftsman Truck race.

“Dover is an awesome race track”, commented Scott Lynch. “Although I have not been there yet I have studied the track and ran hundreds of laps on my computer simulator. I am ready to run on the concrete surface, which everyone tells me is super fast and fun to drive, but you have to be alert because you can get in trouble real quick.”

“Our MB Motorsports #63 Ford team has only run one race at Dover International Speedway which was in 2000,” stated team owner Mike Mittler. “We‘ve put a lot of preparation time into our truck for this Dover race. A long time friend and veteran crew chief, Tim Weiss, has been brought on board to share his knowledge and guidance.  Tim has been at Dover many times and his knowledge will help our team and Scott.”  

Scott will be piloting the yellow/white, & black #63 Cooper Bussmann Racing Ford Truck. He and several team members will also meet and answer questions for Cooper Bussmann distributor and customer guests in the Cooper Bussmann hospitality tent Friday before NCTS practice.

The “AAA Insurance 200” NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race will be telecast on MRN Radio live at 4:45 PM (eastern) and tape delayed telecast on Speed Channel at 8:00 PM (eastern) Friday, June 1, 2007.
