David Stover Ready to Tackle Thunder
Valley
David Stover and the #63 Summer Bay Resort / RACEceiver #63
Ford Truck will take on one of the toughest tracks on the NASCAR circuit Aug.
20 when he and the MB Motorsports team head to Bristol, Tenn., for the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series “O’Reilly 200 presented by Valvoline Maxlife”.
"I'm pretty pumped up about racing at Bristol," said Stover.
"It's my first time there, so my game plan is to just drive patiently and try
to keep the fenders on it for a good finish."
Despite an accident at the team’s last race at Indianapolis
Raceway Park, which led to an early exit and a 35th
place finish, team owner and crew chief Mike Mittler is optimistic going into
Bristol.
"David's a smart driver with a good head on his shoulders,"
he said. "The key at Bristol is to keep an even temper and not worry about
what the other drivers are doing. David has an amazing ability to focus on his
race and react to what's going on around him. I'm confident we're going to drive
the Summer Bay Resort /RACEceiver Ford Truck to a good finish."
The race takes on added importance for Stover as representatives
of primary sponsor, Summer Bay Resort, and associate marketing partner, RACEceiver,
will be in attendance for the event.
"We're really looking forward to having the Summer Bay Resort
people and RACEceiver folks at the track this week," added David. "We plan to
give them an awesome show and lots to cheer about."
Summer Bay Partnership, owner and operator of Summer
Bay Resort and Gatlinburg Town Square, joined the MB Motorsports #63 Ford Craftsman
Truck Series team as the primary marketing partner for the 2003 Daytona, Charlotte,
and Bristol NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races.
Gatlinburg Town Square, located near the track, is resort

the entire family will find enjoyment. Relaxing in the wilderness or attending
NASCAR races at Bristol Motor Speedway, the resort accommodations have all the
comforts of home in spacious condos with fully equipped kitchens. A mountain
stone fireplace and balcony overlooking the gorgeous Smoky Mountains
helps every family member relax and enjoy the wilderness atmosphere.
